Hard-ground etching with a aquatint: This was my smallest, most detailed, and most labor-intensive print due to the number of processes involved. I would estimate that the copper plate was exposed to ferric acid over 10 times (7 times for hard-ground, 3 times for aquatint) throughout the entire etching process.
